OpenStudy (amistre64):
explicits tell us how to find Xn in terms of n; implicits have us trying to find some other term to play with.
OpenStudy (amistre64):
if this makes sense, which ones would you choose for explicits?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
A D and E
OpenStudy (amistre64):
good guess, i would classify all those as 'not' explicit :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Ohhh so it's B and C because of time..?

OpenStudy (amistre64):
it has nothing to do with time. it has everything to do with the way the equation is defined by prior terms:
\[X_n=X_{n-1}~:~implicit\]need to know the term before it to process
\[X_n = 4n~:~explicit\]all we need to know is n ... and possibly some other constant factors.
OpenStudy (amistre64):
stuff like X1 and P1 that they placed in there are deemed constants by default.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So it is B and C(:?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Or A and C?
@amistre64
OpenStudy (amistre64):
B and C are explicit; since ADE are implicit it wouldnt make sense to say A is also explicit.
