Explain why it is possible for you to extend your arm all the way, and then curl it right back up toward your body, if muscles can only pull? 4. Explain how muscles “know” they are supposed to move? 5. About how many muscles do you have in your body? @jacob4900

3.Explain why it is possible for you to extend your arm all the way, and then curl it right back up toward your body, if muscles can only pull? 5. About how many muscles do you have in your body? @austin_coleman can u help on 3 and 5 plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i may know them but im not sure they're right and i dont wanna give u the wrong answer........

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry.......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is possible because when a muscle is pulling it is contracting therefore it is bringing your arm to your body and if you mucles is not contracting that means that it is relaxing which allows you to release your arm from against your body 5. 600-800

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1)Why doesn’t blood ever flow the “wrong” way? 2)What color is blood that is HIGH in oxygen? (Careful!) ---------- (red right) 3)Describe, in your own words, the path of blood through the heart.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i know austin

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ugh....... man if only u asked me this a year ago when i was studying this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because of the blood flow and the blood current. it has to go through the whole body then back to the heart

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol because the heart pumps constantly at a constant pressure so the blood doesnt have a chance to flow the opposite way yes before the blood hits oxygen it is actually a purple color once in contact it turns red the path of blood through the hert is like a cycle with the heart being the center point the blood flows out of the heart into the body and back through the heart.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANKS GUYS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup
