OpenStudy (anonymous):

how are arctangent and cotangent different?

OpenStudy (loser66):

arctangent = \(tan^-\) cotangent =\(\dfrac{1}{tan}\)

OpenStudy (loser66):

and don't confuse between them for example tan (45) =1--> arctangent (1) = 45 degree while cotangent = 1/ tan = 1
