Okay, the problem is quite straight farward, you cane use trigonometry or the pythagorean theorem. Let's call the points A, B, C, D and the center O. |dw:1401261025582:dw| D is the midpoint of A and B, so it's 10.5 I'll join the point O and B, to create a radius. And That allows me to analyze it as a triangle, like this: |dw:1401261186267:dw| All you will have to do from here, is apply the pythagorean theorem.

\[x = \sqrt{10.5^{2}+5^{2}}\]

OpenStudy (abbie):

if I solve that do i get the answer?

OpenStudy (abbie):

sqrt 110.50

OpenStudy (abbie):

@akash809809

OpenStudy (owlcoffee):

Yes, you would have the solution if you solve that square root.

OpenStudy (abbie):

is it 11.6?

OpenStudy (abbie):

@Owlcoffee

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sqrt 110.50 = 10.5118 :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

by the way sqrt(10.5^2 + 5^2) = sqrt(135.25) = 11.63

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it'll be A
