The perimeter of a rectangular garden is 54yd. One side has a length of 15yd. FInd the area of the garden.

Ok so u know that one side is 15 yd so the side opposite of that will also have to be 15 yd. Add up the 2 15 yd and u get 30yd. Subtract 30 from 54 and you get 24. Half 24 and you get 12. So the first side is 12 yd along with the one opposite and the other 2 sides are 15 yd long. Multiply 15 by 12 and there you go. (Im not gonna do the multiplying.)
