It's basically a story about a boy aiding a kid who was picked on, and becoming close friends with him, then something happening and one snapping and stuff goes downhill from there. I watched a movie about it, and it was awesome. I say you just watch it. :) Good luck though!

FYI the smaller kid (Kevin) gets jumped onto the shoulders of the bigger one (Kane) while being chased, and they call themselves "Freak the Mighty"
