And so people won't bother about a math question being absent, I also need help with this:

The period of a function is the change in x it takes to repeat itself. In that problem, it looks to be 4.

Okay but it seems like the change in x isn't fully reaching '4'... does that make a difference, or are you just estimating?

Technically yes it does make a difference, but without any further information I'd say it's just asking you to eyeball it :)
