What is wrong with this word equation? hydrogen sulfide + sodium hydroxide → lithium hydroxide + sodium sulfide 1) Covalent compounds cannot be represented in chemical equations. 2) Too many atoms are present on the product side of the equation 3) Lithium does not appear on the reactant side of the equation 4) No new substances form

In a chemical reaction the atoms get rearranged. You can not produce any new atoms that were not there before, nor lose any of the atoms that you started with.
