OpenStudy (paki):

NEWTON IST LAW OF MOTION... “Every body continues in its states of rest or of uniform speed in a straight line unless acted on by a nonzero net force.” How it relates to bowling: • The only thing that can stop the bowling ball when it's released is the back wall (not considering the friction on between the ball and the lane). NEWTON SECOND LAW OF MOTION... “The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and is inversely proportional to its mass. The direction of the acceleration is in the direction of the net force acting on the object.” How it relates to bowling: • The more acceleration the ball has the harder the ball hits the pins. NEWTON THIRD LAW OF MOTION... Whenever one object exerts a force on a second object, the second exerts an equal and opposite force on the first.” How it relates to bowling: • When the ball hits the pins the pins push back with an equal force. @blondienottosmart
