Prisms and Circles in Your Home Portfolio

Before submitting your chart, please review the grading rubric.

In this portfolio project, apply what you have learned about two-dimensional and three-dimensional figures, which exist all over your home. You need to find five rectangular prisms and five circles in your home. Then, in a chart, provide a sketch of each item, identify the type of figure it is, and the dimensions (measurements) of the figure. Finally, for the rectangular prisms, calculate the surface area and volume of the figure and for the circles, calculate the circumference and area.

Below is an example of how you can organize your chart. Feel free to adjust the layout of the chart to your preference.
