can figure it out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got C , formula for are of a square is a^2 so you do 9^2 which gives you 81 and 81 meters squared to centimeters squared = 810,000

how about you @IMStuck

not to be rude but hurry plz

OpenStudy (imstuck):

The area of a square is s^2 or side squared. That means that for the one in m, which is shown in the drawing, you multiply 9 times 9 to get 81 square meters. Now, to convert 81 meters to centimeters, you use the conversion 100 cm = 1 meter. So you would multiply the 81 by 100 to get centimeters. Here's the set up for conversion. \[81meters \times \frac{ 100 centimeters }{ 1 meter }\]The meters cancel out leaving you with centimeters and you multiply the 81 times the 100 straight across the top like any other multiplication problem involving fractions.
