How do you find the slope of cosine x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mhm are you asking for the derivative?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

- sin x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are the actual steps to finding the slope? Basically using the slope for nonlinear equations. I'm just so confused :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Derivative is the slope u need to memorise the table

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u know calculus?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Really? I saw that d/dx cos x =-sin x but I still don't understand. I'm not in calculus I'm actually in algebra 2, but this is an extra credit question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, so for now remember the derivative is the slope And u need memorise the derivative table

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thanks, but what is the derivative table? Any links?
