Word frequencies upon publications and index sites. (Index statistics pulled from Google, Yandex, etc.) [Statistics from 2013] Christianity: 30 million in word frequency. Islam: 28 million in word frequency. Atheism: 1.8 million in word frequency. [Growth or decay] Christianity from 80 million to 30 million. Atheism from 5.5 million to 1.8 million. Islam from 4 million to 28 million. Anyone interested in me polling more word frequencies that related to beliefs, conclusions, religions?

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

@Opcode Islam is growning by, I think 260% from 1980 I think that's what the statistic was. It did say in the Qur'an that one day most of the world population will be Islam, looks like its headed that way.

OpenStudy (kenljw):

I became interested in Islam in the 80's, read the Koran along with the KJB Bible and other more recent translations of the Torah. I personally think the reason the word frequency for Islam increased so radically was 9/11 and other terror attacks which people just wanted to know why.

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

@kenlJW you may be right, but it was increasing further even before that, most of it has to do with the scientific accuracy's that it has.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@KenLJW is actually correct. I was doing more digging, and Islam is tied with the keywords of: Islam is not a religion of peace. Why are most people from Islam terrorists. <more negative keywords> (Though there were a few good keywords.) I honestly think that it is sad, I think all the major Abrahamic religion emphasis love and compassion. Muslims as a whole need to voice that terrorism is wrong, so these types of misunderstandings are cleared away. Doing a little more digging Islam was on steady growth (small but steady) though it did sky rocket around the era when 9/11 happened. Also note these are not adherents just word frequency.
