you are supposed to find where you are making more interest so arnt u supposed to calculate that

okay here is the deal you are making 6 month certificate deposit in first one so the interest becomes half in first one which is 75/2 and calculate now 4% of 1000 see which number is bigger that should be the one with right answer

75/2 = 37.5 and 4% of 1000 = 40 so the 2nd investment is giving you more interest
