now 4% of 1000?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
you are supposed to find where you are making more interest
so arnt u supposed to calculate that
OpenStudy (anonymous):
okay here is the deal
you are making 6 month certificate deposit in first one
so the interest becomes half in first one
which is 75/2
and calculate now 4% of 1000
see which number is bigger
that should be the one with right answer
OpenStudy (anonymous):
75/2 = 37.5
and 4% of 1000 = 40
so the 2nd investment is giving you more interest

ohh i get it
