PLEASE HELP ME~!!! Determine the taxi distance from point C(2, 4) to point D(1, 7).
either 2, 4, 6, or 14 !?
pythag thrm ...
if we move the points such that one of them is at the origin, we can read the legs of a right triangle from the other point ....
i really dont know how to do math and your speaking chinese to me right now! :0
C(2, 4) to point D(1, 7). -C(2, 4) -C(2, 4) --------------------- 0,0 -1,-3
so it's 4?
|dw:1401374456336:dw|
use the pytahgorean theorum to determine the hypotenuse
idk how to do that and i only have 8 minutes left,
I think it's 4
Because the X values have a difference of 1 and the Y values have a difference of 3. Go with 4.
idk i just failed that quiz -_- and it doesnt tell me which ones i got wrong, thanks tho
Oh. ok. sorry bro. :(
Lol it's okayy thanks tho! (:
No problem. :)
this site is for studying the material, not for taking quizzes... :/
the distance is defined by the pythagorean thrm: a^2 + b^2 = c^2 .... we know a and b
as such the distance was sqrt(10) which is close to pi ... 3.something
I know this was a year ago.. but the answer is/was 4. I just had the same question :)
