Hes a betrayer because he starts telling Brutus about how he had to save him in the water and he ended up getting sick like a little girl. Also, Cassius says that everyone will be walking under Caesars feet like slaves. Cassius trys to get Brutus to join the conspiracy because he is jealous of Caesar and Brutus can pose a threat if he is on Caesars side.
