The most important thing is understanding the situation. This guy is pulling on the plank via the rope around the pulley. And he's not sliding at all. But the plank is sliding freely. This plank slides freely because there's no friction, I mean. And, going back to the man, he's NOT sliding because of the friction. That is the friction that we need to find. |dw:1401409415830:dw|
