A police jeep is chasing a culprit on his motorbike. The culprit crosses the turning at a speed of 72km/hr and the police jeep crosses the turning 10s later than the bike. Assuming that they travel at constant speeds,how far from the turning will the jeep catch up with the bike?

72t is the distance that seperates them the speed of the jeep relative to the bike is simply: (jeep - bike) as such: (jeep-bike) covers a distance of 72t in what time period (p)? the distance from the crossing point is therefore 72(t+p)
