OpenStudy (mindblast3r):

Is it possible to find the dimensions of the sink in this picture?

OpenStudy (mindblast3r):

OpenStudy (mindblast3r):

its a yes or no question btw :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't see how

OpenStudy (anonymous):

don't think you can solve it just by looking at it, but if you scale it u can probably get it...

OpenStudy (mindblast3r):

wait i scaled it.

OpenStudy (mindblast3r):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol where's the sink?

OpenStudy (mindblast3r):

rofl, didn't put it in yet xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol...hmm. it's impossible to be 100% accurate, so i would say the answer is no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can estimate it, to a pretty decent range, but the exact dimensions will be impossible to get

OpenStudy (mindblast3r):

okay what about figuring out the area? and what do you think of my scale that I made, like is the scale good or bad? anything that could be improved in the scale?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well if you don't have the dimensions you can't find the area. The scale looks fine...maybe u should scale and zoom in on just the sink instead of the entire kitchen

OpenStudy (mindblast3r):

Well, there was a question stating, Use half-centimeter grid paper and the scale of your choice to create a two-dimensional floor plan drawing of the kitchen and living area shown in the diagram. Assume that both rooms are rectangular and that the depth of the counter top is uniform 24 in. The shaded areas in the diagram represent the counter space in the kitchen. (3 marks)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm then i guess it's good

OpenStudy (mindblast3r):

How am I suppose to put my sink into the diagram if I don't know the dimensions then? and if it's impossible to figure out???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the dimensions is impossible to figure out, but for the scale, u just put it with relative to the other objects

OpenStudy (mindblast3r):

what do you mean?
