@nelsonjedi could you help on this?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
What is the volume of the first box?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
2 x 3 x 4 = 24
so the equation is 12 x l x h = 24
but the length is equal to the width so it's 12 x 12 x h = 24
so do i have to divide 24 by 144 (12 x 12)??
OpenStudy (anonymous):
that would equal 0.16666666 etc.

Are you sure you wrote the equation correct> for the second cube? "ith the dimensions 2 x 3 x 4 is melted into another cube whose width is 12. Find the length and height of the cube formed if l=w."

yeah. i typed it straight off the worksheet.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
l=h
OpenStudy (anonymous):
0.166666666 etc works in the equation tho so would the height be that and the lEngth be 12?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
nope, it says l=w

You did to correct..good job!!!!!
