HELP I WILL FAN AND MEDAL BUT I NEED FAST AS SONE AS POSSIBLE How did distance from Rome likely affect people in the Roman Empire? A. Rome had less political control over people in distant provinces. B. Rome sent better goods and supplies to its far territories. C. People further from Rome had lower social status. D. People closer to Rome were more likely to hold political office.

well soon rulers wanted to self-govern causing major disagreements between people. also barbarians from the germanic tribes came and started to take over. rulers had to elected, hence they decided to pay people to vote for them. this makes the people residing in rome to become ill and die because of poor hygiene and medication. so all in all, it actually declined the roman empire making it eventually be known as the "Fall of the Roman Empire"

It's definitely A. As the Roman Empire expanded, further territories became more difficult to protect and govern.
