Which factor promoted the development of new forms of entertainment such as dance halls, carnival rides, and professional sports? A. Unemployed urban workers needed ways to spend their time, so they would not turn to crime. B. New technologies allowed people all over the world to view entertainment everywhere. C. Busy city people no longer had time for older, more time-consuming forms of entertainment. D. The new middle class had leisure time and extra money.
@Whitemonsterbunny17 umm... B?
I'd say either B or D... I'm leaning more toward D though because those things aren't really entertainment viewed everywhere, they're just viewed in the local area.
Mmm, I see. Do you have any resources?
My brain. xD
Lol, that's good enough xD
Thanks :) But just to double check, can you tag people who are good at history? ^.^
Sure!! (: @halorazer
I gtg now, I'll check again in the morning. Thanks if you can!! :) ♥
I'd go with A or D. Although, the unemployed tend to be poorer, and it says professional sports as an entertainment source, implying they are not partaking in the sport itself. I'd go with D.
Thanks :)
