probability theory predicts that there is a 76% chance of a water polo team winning at any particular match. if the water polo team playing two matches is stimulated 10,000 times in about how many of the stimulations would you expect them to win?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well find 76% of 10000 that would be an estimate of the results of the simulation when looking at wins

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 7600?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

oops I just re-read the question... it should be the probability of 1 win is 76% the probability of 2 wins is P(Win, Win) = 0.76 x 0.76 when you get that probability multiply by 10000
