A bottle of salon shampoo costs $15 for 13 ounces. What is the approximate unit price of the shampoo?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How many ounces is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It doesn't say. Thats all the question tells me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, what are the answers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

eighty-seven cents per bottle zero point eight seven ounces per dollar one dollar and fifteen cents per ounce one point one five ounces per bottle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so they want the price, and D has nothing to do with the price. We don't know how many ounces a bottle has, to A is also wrong. So 15 / 13 = 1.15 Which is C.

Do you understand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea, thanks for explaning it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem. :)
