What is meant by "Milk of Lime"?

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

It is a colorless crystal or white powder and is obtained when calcium oxide (called lime or quicklime) is mixed, or "slaked" with water. So it's pretty much watery emulsion of calcium hydrate, produced by macerating quicklime in water.
