Difference between affect and effect questions?

like something that "affective" convincing, it works kinda thing. "you hit the bully in the face, the hit was SUPER affective!"

while effect is like-- how did this effect the person? "When you hit the bully, it gave him a black eye" and thats the effect. Dunno if this helps but yeah
