i have another question? Solve for x. 4 • 7 – 4 • 10 = 4(x – 10) A. –13 B. –6 C. 4 D. 7
try using PEMDAS to simplify 4 • 7 – 4 • 10 what would you get? :)
-12
right :) then what do you get from distributing out 4(x-10) ?
wouldn't -12 be x?
not quite because you have 4(x-10) on the other side... could you distribute out 4(x-10) ? :)
7?
*sigh* yeah x = 7
why did you say sigh?
my brain gets confused when people just guess the answers when I'm trying to get them to do something else :P it's alright eh
i didn't guess though i worked it out i put the numbers where x was to see if i got -12 so if i put 4(7-10) i get -12 so it was 7
oooooooooo nice xD my brain doesn't usually think that way :P well, good job then
Thank You i got it with your help see when i read the question i got confused and i didn't know what to do but you helped me out
I'm glad I could help :)
well thank you
