OpenStudy (playa):

what is the application of science to clinical medicine? a.biomedical science b.anatomy and physiology c.biology d.forensic science

OpenStudy (playa):

probably c or a

OpenStudy (kainui):

Does it have to be only 1?

OpenStudy (playa):

yes one only

OpenStudy (kainui):

Well since forensics is more concerned with crimes, (DEAD GUYS lol) and biology is far to general, and biomedical is more like pharmaceutical companies designing the structures of drugs (yes, modern chemistry designs drugs based on shape of molecules, it's fascinating that mere philosophers only 100 years ago would have been impressed to know this) but it's anatomy and physiology, which is how you're put together and how it all functions. Nifty stuff eh?

OpenStudy (playa):

yes thanks

OpenStudy (kainui):

I suppose that I should specify that specifically "clinical medicine" is what hints it off. We're talking specifically about medicine administered directly in the clinic. That means on the floor in hospitals by doctors. In all honesty, this is not true because this is actually quite a complex scenario in which biology and biomedical science are really involved. It's like trying to separate chemistry from biology, or chemistry from physics. It's ridiculous. It all exists in one consistent reality; the division is one made up entirely by humans trying to understand "reality" better. Good luck in your studies!

OpenStudy (playa):

so its more of a b

OpenStudy (playa):

b or a

OpenStudy (kainui):

I don't know. When I think A&P I think of how the body is put together and how it works. When I think of biomedical I think of how drugs are an integral part of modern medicine. I really don't know what they mean by "application". It's just a bad question sorry, life's just not that easy. Go with A&P though, that's probably "the" answer. Sorry, maybe someone else can help you better than me. Good luck to them is all I've gotta say.

OpenStudy (playa):

thnx
