PLEASE HELP STUCK ON A QUESTION :( 1.)As shown in the diagram, a pole TF is on the roof of a shed FB. From a point P on the ground 27 feet from the foot of the shed, the measure of the angle to the of the pole T is 38º. The measure of the angle to the foot of the pole F is 32º. Determine to the nearest tenth of a foot, the height of the pole.
`As shown in the diagram,.... ` where is the diagram ? @diabrooks
you may attach the pic by clicking "Attach File" below this textbox
alright I will sorry I forgot about that give me one second
take ur time :)
There I got it to work :)
height of pole TF = TB - FB
use `tan` ratio in both the right triangles and find TB and FB...
\(\tan 38 = \dfrac{TB}{27} \implies TB =?\) \(\tan 32 = \dfrac{FB}{27} \implies FB =?\)
