these are the definitions in my lesson ......
Fetch: Fetch is the distance on the ocean surface over which the wind blows.
Speed: The speed of the wind will determine the size of the types of waves formed.
Duration: If the wind blows over an area consistently, the waves are more likely to grow larger.
Surf: As waves break, they create a foamy layer of bubbling water, known as surf.
