4x^2-3x-2=0 by solving quadratic formula

The quadratic formula is \[\large \frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}\] the 'a' 'b' and 'c' represent the coefficients of your equation... so a = 4 b = -3 and c = -2 So just plug those in..and simplify the formula
