Can someone walk me through this? I'm like more than confused and have no idea how to do this assignment. There are 3 parts, here is the first part; To open these doors, you must match the number and type of solutions for the following two fuctions in standard form. f(x) = x^2 + 6x – 16 g(x) = x^2 +6x + 1 Match the following descriptions of the solutions to each of the functions above. lets take f first b^2-4ac=100 which is 10^2 ,so has rational solns now g ,b^2-4ac=32 ,not sqr number ,so has irrational roots
