What's the diameter?

geerky42 (geerky42):

Formula for circumference of circle is \(C = \pi \color{darkred}d\), where \(\color{darkred}d\) is diameter of circle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The formula to find the circumference of a circle is 2*pi*r, where r = radius. Radius = diameter/2. In this case, the diameter is 8. So you divide that by 2 and get a radius of 4. Plug that into your circumference formula to get 2*pi*4 = 8pi
