I got 3534 but non of them are the answer choices. Why it that?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Instead trying to figure out the area of the inscribed cylinder all at once, you can break it down. The area of the circle is figured out by: \[\pi \times r^2\] We have the options stating that we don't need to compute the area with the pi. So we can move on to the next part. Our radius will be 5 and if you square it will be ___ You can then multiply it by the height of the inscribed tube which will equal to ______ (that will be your answer).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did 3.14 * 5^2 and got 78.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then did 5^2 * 15^2 = 375 in. ^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I meant 15**

Can someone else help me out on a different question?
