One question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just give me the formula and I'll try to solve it.

OpenStudy (phi):

how far did you get?

OpenStudy (phi):

do you know the formula for finding the volume of a prism ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I quite forgot the formula.

OpenStudy (phi):

area of the base times the height that will work for the cylinder also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Give me a minute to solve.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

15

OpenStudy (phi):

Here is a list of volume formulas https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volume#Volume_formulas

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks, and I got 15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do I do next?

OpenStudy (phi):

how did you get 15 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b*h

OpenStudy (phi):

For the volume of the prism, you need area of base * height height is easy. It is 5 the tricky part is you need the area of the base. It is a square but they do not give the side of the square (area of a square is side*side)
