well things we learn in math are about polynomials, exponents, multiply/add/subtract and dividing polynomials. What we learn in language arts is predicting, figurative language, learn how to write poems and about descriptive essays. What we learn in social studies is about Panama, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Cuba, Venezuela, and Chile. What we learn in science is about different types of sound waves. People who cram tend to forget.  If you work with information more over time, you retain more.  You can use assorted review sites to work with things, ask questions here on topics you do not get, and develop consolidation.  That is the long term memory of thing.
