Brb, but go ahead an answer it.

OpenStudy (anteater):

Ok for this one, you have the volume of a cylinder and of a rectangular prism. So, volume of a cylinder is pi times the radius squared times the height of the cylinder. Then the rectangular prism would just be length times width times height.

OpenStudy (anteater):

So please let me know what you get and I will verify. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the volume of a rectangular prism is LWH, which in this case is 12x6x14, giving you 1088. The volume of a cylinder is\[\Pi r^{2}h\], so \[\Pi(4^{2})(4)\]which equals about 201.1 Add them together to get 1209.1

OpenStudy (anteater):

Yes :) Although I thing you have a typo on the 1088, should be 1008 But the sum is correct, so I think you just wrote that down wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oops my mistake! Thanks for correcting :)

OpenStudy (anteater):

No problem! I don't know if they make you show your work or not.

OpenStudy (anteater):

Don't want to lose any points if they do, though. :)
