Ok, so because A and B are genetically linked and there is a 20% units apart meaning that there is a 20% recombinant rate so AB could be aB or Ab. that mean the 80% would be AB, and since the genotype from the offspring would be ab also from the parental 


Then 40% you would get AB 
And 40% you would get ab 

So 40% + 40% + 20% (This comes from aB or Ab and each of those make up 10% because it is a total of 20%) = 100% total.
