OpenStudy (justin9529):

help please!! The sum of two numbers is 50. One number is 10 less than three times the other number. What are the two numbers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK, so you know that one number added to another number is 50, so we will call the first number x and the second number y. So we have x + y = 50 x = 3y-10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are going to solve the equations to get your two numbers
