OpenStudy (imstuck):

A regular polygon is a polygon where all the sides and interior angles are congruent. A 3-sided regular polygon is a triangle. A 4-sided regular polygon is a square; a 6-sided regular polygon is a hexagon. See?

If you'd like a semi-formal attempt at a definition ... Picture the Cartesian plane. Pick \(n\) points, and arrange them in a circle around the origin (so that they're equidistant from the origin) and so that adjacent points are equidistant from each other - the distance between adjacent points and the origin need not be the same. Draw a line segment between adjacent points to connect them. There must be a more succinct way to describe this :/
