Lucy has 4 pairs of pants, 5 shirts and 3 hats. How many different ways can she dress?

OpenStudy (dejmccray):

you would multiply all the numbers 4*5*3 which is 60 but you might wanna ask someone else to

Ok, thanks.

OpenStudy (dejmccray):

no problem

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Yes just multiply to get all the ways she can dress (ofc assuming she wears all the pieces :) )

Thanks very much!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

for pants : 4 ways for each pant she can pick 5 different shirts : 4*5 = 20 ways for each of this pant+shirt combo, she can pick 3 different hats : 20*3 = 60 ways in total
