Going with what @amistre64 said. You would divide the times you got your result, by the times you rolled it.

You will divide the times he rolled a 4, by the TOTAL number of rolls.

That being said, you must answer the two questions @amistre64 already put for you.

"How many times did you roll a 4?"

and

"How many times did you roll total?"
