Is the placement of the adjective clause in the sentence correct or incorrect? The online store went out of business the next day where I found a great deal on a laptop.
It is incorrect. It should be: The online store, where I found a great deal on a laptop, went out of business the next day.
can you help with this one .... Which sentence has a misplaced adjective clause? A. The librarian, who is always helpful, often reads stories to children. B. The library has a copy of the popular novel, which is closed on Sundays. C. The public library that is near our apartment has a great selection of books. D. To check out books I use my library card, which I keep in my wallet.
Please try posting new questions on a new thread, instead of continuing to post the questions in one thread. Anyways, it would be B, since 'which is closed on Sundays' describes the library, not the novel.
thank u
