Really lost on bio question for review. Please help or explain the answer so I can write the flashcard for it. Recombinant DNA technology uses certain biotechnology processes to insert nonrelated genes into recipient cells. It has provided medicine by producing human insulin in bacterial cells. (a) Explain why this method of human insulin production is more effective in bacterial cells than animal cells. (b) Discuss why conjugation has an advantage over other means of lateral transfer because it donates genetic material through cell-to-cell contact.

a) reason is simple, why more effecting? well that's because bacteria reproduces very fast and in large amounts ( for getting info about the type of reproduction http://micro.cornell.edu/research/epulopiscium/binary-fission-and-other-forms-reproduction-bacteria ) why not in animal, well that's because animal cell is more complicated than bacterial cell, thus its not really effective
