yes, because thats a division problem 6 / 1/2 so scince its a fraction of a number you devide the number by the fraction getting you the answer but to further explain it 6 devided by 1/2 and 1/2 of 6 is the same problem just written in another form... hope this helped ;) -Jaynator495
