How did Berliners respond to the "opening" of the Berlin Wall? (5 points) Answer Berliners protested new travel regulations and the opening of the wall. Berliners rushed to preserve the wall that had been standing for 28 years. Berliners celebrated the lifting of travel restrictions. Berliners on the East and West sides resisted any changes to the wall. Im just confused about the wording of this question, does opening mean tearing down?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, opening means it coming down, end of Communist government in East Germany. And it would be the 3rd one, "Berliners celebrated the lifting of travel restrictions.", this is because a lot of Germans had family on the opposite side that they couldn't see in a very long time.
