One of the examples he gave us was v+3<5 the answer was subtract 3 from each side and that simplified it to v < 2. Not sure on the next question y-7>-4. Do I subtract+7 from each side that will give me y>3. Does that make sense?

no you add cause you were subtracting before and if thats a negative sign then you divide cause your suppose to do inverse operation!!!!
