What are the similarities and differences between pulmonary circulation and systemic circulation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Both systems move blood, both oxygenated and non-oxygentated. The difference is that in the pulmonary system, veins carry the oxygenated blood and arteries the deoxygenated. This is the reverse of the systemic system. Just remember: veins carry towards the heart, arteries away.

Ok so does that mean that the veins have the deoxygenated blood and carry it to the heart to get more oxygen? @mrdoldum
