I think its d but i can easily b wrong

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

notice the rectangular bottom of the prism what do you think is the area of the rectangular bottom?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im going to be honest i have no idea .. :p srry

308

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

see the rectangular bottom now? tis just a rectangle

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

ahemm ... shoot.. hold on.. I misunderstood the prism for a pyramid =)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

you don't need the base anyhow... so... lemme do it anyway the volume of the prism will be, the AREA OF THE TRIANGULAR FACE times the LENGTH of it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So i do 28 * 11 or 13? or am i way off

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

\(\bf \textit{area of a triangle}=\cfrac{1}{2}\cdot base\cdot height\to \cfrac{1}{2}\cdot 11\cdot 13\to {\color{red}{ \square }} \\ \quad \\ \textit{volume of the triangular prism}={\color{red}{ \square }}\cdot 28\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A little more help? i dont know why im always so stuck :/

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

didn't get the volume?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2002?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

yeap
