What is the value of p? x=(1/4)y^2 Thanks in advance for any help! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

theres no p in the equation? are you sure you're looking for p?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Positive. They're referring to the P in (x – h)2 = 4p(y – k), but I don't know how to get that \[\frac{ 1 }{ 4 }y^2\] into that.

Okay, the answer is 1, I guess. Thanks for the help @queenofdrillz !
